Premiering this month of August are the shows, ‘Lights out with David Spade’ and ‘The Gong Show with Mike Myers’


Singapore, 30 July 2019 – Coming up on Comedy Central this August is the premiere of two brand new series, ‘Lights Out with David Spade’, and ‘The Gong Show with Mike Myers’. ‘Lights out with David Spade’ is dated to premiere two back-to-back episodes on 1 August at 10.35 pm (SG/PH/MAL) and at 11.00 pm (SG/PH/MAL). Subsequently, the show will air at 10.00pm (WIB/TH) and at 11.00 pm (SG/MAL/PH). Meanwhile, ‘The Gong Show with Mike Myers’ debuts on 22 August at 8.00 pm (WIB) and 9.00 pm (SG/PH/MAL).


David Spade’s new late-night series, Lights Out with David Spade, will feature Spade’s signature take on the pop culture news of the day. The nightly series, which will be from Mondays to Fridays, will include a rotating group of Spade’s comedian and celebrity friends while also incorporating sketches and field segments. The line-up for the premiere week includes:

·         1 August: Neal Brennan, Whitney Cummings, Erik Griffin

·         1 August: Jen Kirkman, Theo Von, Amy Schumer, Nick Swardson

·         2 August: Steve Byrne, Kaley Cuoco, Jim Jefferies

·         5 August: Dana Carvey,  Al Madrigal, Sarah Tiana


Lights Out with David Spade joins a growing slate of new and returning series at Comedy Central including: the late night variety show, Saturday Night Live; animated sitcom, South Park; the Comedy Central original, Stand-up Asia; and the brand new series, Alternatino with Arturo Castro and Good Talk with Anthony Jeselnik.


Comedian Mike Myers goes full-character mode as host, Tommy Maitland, for The Gong Show with Mike Myers. The show highlights a variety of rather dubious yet exciting acts from pole dancing dinosaurs to flesh-eating zombies performing ballet. Not to mention a star-studded panel of judges with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Ken Jeong, and Jack Black. Catch The Gong Show with Mike Myers from Thursdays to Sundays.
